the interconnected web

I was searching through videos put up by the re-enactor organization Regia Anglorum, looking for
costume ideas (the information in Gale Owen-Crocker's book is helpful but literally sketchy) and found this one. It started and immediately transformed me to WWII instead of the Battle of Hastings, due to the music (which was actually written in 2000 or thereabouts, but as the theme music for HBO's docudrama "Band of Brothers," the association is with France in 1944-45).
