terrorism in Arizona

I called the Department of Homeland Security comment line asking that they categorize yesterday's assassination shooting spree as an act of terrorism. They won't, of course, because Jared Loughner is not a Muslim, but a targeted attack on an elected representative while she was doing publicized governing work (at a constituents' gathering) is an attack on our government system and therefore indirectly on all of us.
I think it's odd that they don't have an email address for comments, and added that to my voice mail message.
