last chance for good food, pleasant atmosphere, incompetent service

The Pulse restaurant in Somerville (where Steve's used to be, I think) is closing after tomorrow. We went on Tuesday, and I think I know why they're going out of business. The food is good but the servers seem clueless, the wait for the food was long, and despite having a cash register, the person used a calculator to add up the bill and seemed to be having trouble figuring out the tax. I'm sorry to lose a vegan option, but it's my impression that those people are not cut out to be in the food service business.
