For months, AT&T has been warning me that they were going to stop supporting my 2g flip phone. It is true that the signal has been getting worse - in downtown Boston, I only reliably get signal in the basement cafeteria at Mass General Hospital. Today we finally replaced it (with a new LG flip phone). It took visits to three places to find one that could put my old contacts onto the new phone, and I haven't figured out many features or even chosen a ring tone. I was thinking I'd go with the traditional telephone ring, but that might be confusing at home, because the land line ring also sounds like a traditional telephone.
I was reading the newspaper with the radio on in the background. When the style of music changed, I presumed that it was 4 PM. I glanced at the top of the page, to confirm the time. Um, no. That would have worked if I had been reading on the tablet, but not a paper newspaper. I regularly check my wrist watch for the date, even though it doesn't have a calendar feature. Mixed up on a regular basis.
