We are counting down our +2 weeks post shot time. I have already, with care, been flying to NC & back, and doing necessary shopping in person. Short-term, we are scheduling dental and medical things we skipped last year. I might finally get new glasses. What I am not going to do is eat inside a restaurant, go inside any kind of theater, or any of that kind of entertainment. I am not looking forward to going out at night in general. Yesterday I attended a book discussion followed by ringing practice. I was sitting in the same chair I'm sitting in now. In the past year, we've been out at night rarely enough to count on our fingers - walked two blocks from the house to see some lights set up at the park to celebrate LHS graduation last May. The one time we ate outside at Barada last fall, the meal started in the daylight but it was dark by the time we got home. Our other rare patio dining at a Taiwanese restaurant was at lunchtime. Five times of leaving hospitals after visiting one parent or another, which included the only time in a year I've had the much-discussed woman alone at night fear, in the parking garage after visiting hours ended. When my mother was visiting my father with me, we used valet parking at the curb. When the power was out after the wind storm not long ago, Arthur went into his office at school and stayed until fairly late evening, because the house was cold and dark (I was in NC, warm and well-lit). As far as we can recall, that's it. .When Zoom life stops, I will cut back on how much I do, probably. Hoping for hybrid stuff, long-term.

There's no internal alliteration to speak of. All the words mean what they mean, no kennings. Is it because I thought at first that he was walking across lava, and free-associated to Iceland because of all the recent volcano footage? It is epic, in its own individual way. Whatever - it made me want to reach out to the Old English books on the desk, the closest thing I've got.
It's almost two years old, but I just saw it. I plan to watch it multiple times today.
