Verizon update

After a long time chatting and explaining, my Verizon bill will show that everything is fine, I don't have to get yet another new router, and I don't have their TV service any more. He still tried to get me to go back to using their TV service, but nope. He said that the tech support person I spoke to originally should have tried to send me a set-top box without the Google tie-in. They do still offer that, and in fact it's what he had. It is a newer model than the one I had been using, but not as new as the new internet/google based one. Too late now, I'm living without. I told him I might miss it at Olympics time, but who knows if there will be another Olympics anyway? There have been some worries about the winter Olympics in Italy next year and I can't believe anybody will come to LA for the 2028 summer games.
I'll worry about Olympics when it happens.
