I am not afraid to fly on September 11th

lauradi7dwWhich is a good thing, because I am planning to do so. I am worried and furious that the various agencies allegedly aiming to protect us are fighting the last war, stepping up security theater and harassment that weekend, but I have no Fear of Flying. Actual fears:
That something bad (unspecified) will happen to Flo.
That my father's terrible driving will cause someone harm.
That my mother's femur won't heal.
Something even more vague about Arthur.
That I will fall or have a heart attack, especially while running. (did I mention that one of the fingers that was sprained in the April fall actually turned out to have a fracture that didn't heal quite right? I am considering writing a letter to Lahey to complain. Both the ER doc and the radiologist missed it. The x-ray that was taken when I was still having some discomfort months later showed it clearly).
