Nixon resigns

lauradi7dwFifty years ago today. After work I put on nicer clothes and went to a friend's parents' house in Newton to watch the resignation speech on TV. Then friends and I went to Cabots for hot fudge sundaes.

Edit: I had the thought of reaching out to D and saying that I remember the day. We haven't been in touch since some time in the early 1980s. probably, but I found an email address online that might still work. Is that stalkerish?
