They will be wider and have some sort of mesh on the south side of the house, the side that has the magnificent astoundingly large I refuse to have it cut down cedar tree, that drops debris. I sometimes give money to the neighbors on that side because the tree drops stuff into their gutter as well. The driveway side will be more standard size and no cover. I don't want to call the downspout at the northeast corner Rube Goldberg-esque because RG's designs seem workable, but that is going to be fixed as well.
My parents had the kind of gutter cover that totally doesn't work. I don't know the brand name, but the water just ran over the top of the covers somehow.
