Can one start off a new year after 5 hours of sleep by ranting about how we still have legal slavery (the way prisoner labor is allowed to be used, trying to ship people to countries unrelated to their origin for money)?
Can we point out the astounding degree of anti-Blackness in the US? In 2006 (2005?) local parents protested against the existence of picture books in elementary schools showing families with two moms, for example (no sexual mechanics involved).

Here we are again, but the current incarnation of protesting against queer-accepting books has added complaints about "DEI" stuff in history class, which as stated in the lawsuit seems specifically against the idea that Black people in the US have had reason to protest.
