A wolf was killed in Littleton a decade or so ago. I'm surprised we don't have wolves; in fact, I rather wonder if we haven't had wolves move back in, and be shot. They gain a foothold, people will be reminded of why the colonists were so eager to get rid of them.

Deer, at least, are good to eat.
