I scored 100% on the quiz, but I fail to do all the stuff.

In particular, I don't have my tires
inflated enough because I hate dealing with the air pump. Not much of an excuse.
That also would me a mark against me on the when to make an old person stop driving quiz.

Time to reform, I guess, but not today (it's raining).

I missed the one about not bothering to warm up the car first. I remember all the other "rules" from the 70's gas crunch. Some things don't change.

The article about the elderly driving wasn't very nice; all those conditions can, and frequently do, apply to young people, and people in between too.

My father has been one of the world's scariest drivers at least since I was old enough to pay attention to the road, so the fact that he is 86 doesn't cause me any new worries. He and my mother are not legally restricted to daytime only driving, but they have mostly put the rule onto themselves. Every time one of the old people drives into crowd & kills people because s/he couldn't tell the difference between the accelerator and the brake stories is in the news, my parents wait to see if the law will change and they'll have their licenses removed based on age alone, but so far nothing like that has happened.
