That may have been true in 2005, when it was written, but I suspect it no longer is, unless the
Anhui USTC EGIBIO Biotechnology Co. in Fuyang is kosher certified. They began offering it for export to the US in 2007. This is a side tangent that I really don't need to be sliding along, but I know that the Nutrition professor is always worried about what ingredients come from China - there's no way of knowing from looking at the ingredient list on a packaged product. (in case you're curious, almost all the Thiamine and Riboflavin in enriched flour in the US comes from China. The Niacin comes from Switzerland).
