The car had extensive (expensive) repairs last week and then last night the check engine light came on. I dropped it off at the mechanic's. No estimate yet.
This morning part of one of my molars broke off (I was eating dried apricots at the time, not a usual suspect for chipping a tooth).
Those are irritations, but in a time period of deadly cyclones and earthquakes and tornadoes, the response is more like "how annoying" rather than anything stronger.
