imperfect immediate gratification

lauradi7dwI suddenly decided a few minutes ago that I need to go to a contra dance tonight. The Roaring Jelly dances are within easy walking distance from home, on the 3rd Friday night, but upon consideration, I realized that this is the 4th Friday. Phooey. The nearest ones that I can find
are in Greenfield, Rehoboth, or the future (which is to say, the one tomorrow night in JP, also not an easy walk from home). There's an English Country Dance in Harvard Square tonight. It wasn't what I was hoping for, but it might go well with my recent project of collecting Youtube clips of people from costume dramas dancing to Hole in the Wall.
