My chance we stopped at C-Span for a minute last night while searching for some other program (I don't remember what)because I noticed Dennis Kucinich speaking. We didn't stay long, and I didn't realize until this afternoon that he was listing articles of impeachment. My take - it's necessary, it's long overdue, and 35 is too many. I'm quoting from Making Light here:
>>Warrantless wiretapping is a high crime or misdemeanor that rises to an impeachable offense.
"Outing" Valerie Plame is a high crime or misdemeanor that rises to an impeachable offense.
Approving torture is a high crime or misdemeanor that rises to an impeachable offense.
"Preemptive war" is a high crime or misdemeanor that rises to an impeachable offense.
Use of "Signing statements" to violate the law even as the law is being signed is a high crime or misdemeanor that rises to an impeachable offense.
Violation of habeas corpus is a high crime or misdemeanor that rises to an impeachable offense.
Extraordinary rendition is a high crime or misdemeanor that rises to an impeachable offense.
Employment of mercenary armies is a high crime or misdemeanor that rises to an impeachable offense.<<
Eight is already a shocking number - listing 35 just muddies the issues.

I hadn't thought much about it before, but today I was pondering the heat stoicism of small children. They are willing to complain about dirty diapers, and hunger, and other sorts of discomfort, but I don't remember ever hearing a little kid complain about the heat. They sweat profusely, or look wilted sometimes (depends on the child), but are not whiny in the way adults are. (she says, while having the weird experience of sweat pouring out of her scalp).
