RIP Randy Pausch
The rest of the quotation: "I think I'm clear where I stand on the great Tigger/Eeyore debate. Never lose the childlike wonder. It's just too important. It's what drives us."
I think I'm in the middle somewhere. It's possible to be convinced that nearly everything is
in terrible shape and still find joy in learning new stuff, or sniffing a flower, or making a meal out of the day's haul from the farmer's market.
Apparently it's been around a while, but just yesterday I learned the joke diagnosis
ADOS http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ADOS
(as opposed to the clinical meaning of that acronym, http://www.umaccweb.com/diagnostic_tools/)
I don't know whether being pulled off-topic by the shiny things of the world counts as childlike wonder, but I'm there fairly often.
