I'm glad I read most of the books about Ender Wiggin before I read any non-fiction by Orson Scott Card. I suppose I shouldn't let irritation, shall we say, toward an author affect my opinion of his or her work, but I'm not the most unbiased person in the world either.

In two hours I need to be able to consistently apply the right-hand rule in electromagnetic contexts on a test. I get it right about half the time, no matter how much I twist my hand (or sometimes even arm) around
