Tooth and tunes

I'm not sure I have the jargon right, but this morning the fixture and abutment were surgically implanted in #19's spot. The background music was a surprising combination of standard religious Christmas hymns and pop songs. I had this season's first hearing of "Last Christmas," although it wasn't the original version. I don't know if i can count it as a coincidence of the day that I heard it again this evening, given its reputation for being overplayed.
It'll be another three months of healing before the crown can be put on. In the short term (a week or two) I am taking amoxycillin, rinsing with medicated stuff, and avoiding some seeds and nuts.
