Can I cut back on social media and TV from now until Christmas, so I can finish everything on my list?
As I mentioned here earlier, I am going to be in the dance studio show on Friday. For a 2 minute routine we have already had several extra rehearsals, plus the routine taking over our regular class, plus there will be another rehearsal or two this week.
We are dancing to the excellent "Christmas night in Harlem by Louis Armstrong:

The Concept2 rowing machine company has an annual challenge between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. I am already so far behind that I won't be able to catch up on total meters, but I mean to try.

There are three weeks left before I am done (according to my plan) with janggu. I'd like to acquire as much skill as possible in that time, which means more daily practice time than I've been spending thus far.

I have weird one-time commitments like selling trees (really https://sites.google.com/view/follenchristmastrees ),
The related question is whether I will buy a recently deceased tree for inside my house. I generally liked having it last year, but I'm the only one who will see it. I'm not a Christian or a pagan, not that that stops anybody

I put a bow on Arthur's elliptical machine. I will bring my festive clothing down from the attic. Do I want a tree? Probably a branch would be good enough, to bring the smell into the house.

I'm going to Northampton for a long bellringing session on the weekend. My attention span is not great. I'm worried about it. I am trying to budget study time in every day as well. I also need to be well-rested and nourished before the trip. Both of those take time.

I thought about just not checking twitter and bluesky, but if I followed through on that I wouldn't have learned about the death of a BTS family dog or have seen this old video of guys taking a bite of raw onion every time Hallelujah is sung in the titular song. Is this worth 4 minutes of your time? Up to you.

Also greeting cards. And donations - tomorrow is giving Tuesday.

I was about to wash the toaster oven pan, which had been used to bake tofu, when I noticed that there were tiny shards of glass on it, and on the counter next to it. I had eaten the tofu directly off of the pan earlier and was not sliced open. When did the shards arrive? After a lot of investigation, it looks like the largest of the Pyrex storage bowls has a little chip around the rim. The Pyrex containers live in the cabinet above where I found the glass. Could that be the source? I use it regularly and would hate to trash it (Pyrex can't be put in the recycling), but if there is an imperfection that leads to little sharp bits, it has to go.
