I went back to the dentist and had her smooth off the sharp edge of the temporary crown.
Tonight is the community ed First Aid class that was postponed due to snow a week ago. There was snow last night as well. Now it's raining. I will clear off the walk before letter carrier time but haven't decided what to about the driveway. Currently the pre-rain snow is acting like a sponge, and is extremely heavy. I wish I could predict how much it will melt before it gets below freezing tonight and goes from being wet concrete to solid concrete.
I think it has been more than ten years since my last First aid/CPR/Narcan class. From the materials the teacher sent out, there will be rescue breathing as well as chest compressions. That will mean removing my mask indoors with other people. I checked with my friend E to see if having me exposed in that way will make her feel unsafe, and she gave me the go-ahead. I'll do a Covid test before I see her next week anyway, because I almost always do. Maybe I should buy one of the combination Covid and Flu test kits. Some areas of the US have had an unreasonable number of deaths from Flu A. Now that I've typed that, I can't say what a reasonable number would be, but three teenager flu deaths in San Diego (for example) is definitely not "normal."
This is not exactly what was going on in the fictional astronaut Kdrama, but I was amused to see it

I found the box and pump for the exercise ball. I've decided to keep it, and will store the box with my hand weights that I don't currently use, but might again someday.
When I cleaned the rowing machine chain the other day, I spilled oil on my little seat cushion (the amount of cushioning is slight, but still more than the hard seat that is attached to the machine). I cleaned it up as well as I could, but am sitting on paper towels while I row to suck up the amount that is still oozing. I have completed the Valentine's challenge and am adding volume regularly to work up to the Mud season madness challenge in March.

"Sometime next week I will dedicate a time period (week?) of sleeping in the guest room to see if it feels any different."
It wasn't the next week. I started doing that a week ago, almost four months later than my resolution to do so. Results are mixed. I am still having dreams about Arthur from time to time, including last night, in which he kept the main bedroom and I stayed in the guest room. I am aware as an awake person that he will never spend a night in this house again, but at least now I know not to blame the dreams on that room or that bed. The TV has always been in the big bedroom. Moving away from it means that I can't lie in bed watching TV right before sleeping (or immediately after waking up) but otherwise my sleep hygiene hasn't improved much - I still watch a lot of TV, just not quite so close to sleepy time, and I have other internet-connected screens in the guest room (which is where I'm typing on my laptop at this very minute).
