lauradi7dw: Orange t-shirt, white mask (Orange)
I post these occasionally in case it's helpful for people to understand me. I have no idea whether other people's minds are like this.
I don't remember the origin of this mental thread. Something about kpop idols wearing body-covering clothes. Then I thought of how excited fans were to see Min Yoongi briefly expose his upper arm/lower shoulder during a concert to show where his tattooed numeral 7 is.*
Then I thought of the scene from "Gypsy" in which Louise appears as a stripper for the first time - she ends up still fully dressed (less one glove) but flips a strap down as she walks off the stage, exposing a little bit more shoulder.

Then I thought of the scene in "Bunheads" in which Sutton Foster's character calls out "Sing out, Louise" to her student.

The student isn't singing anything from Gypsy - "Perfect Relationship" is from "Bells are Ringing."
Then I had the side thought about ringing friend J, who once sang part of "Perfect Relationship" while we were walking on the sidewalk across the Greenway near Haymarket.
Then I thought of the opening number at the 70th Tony awards in which James Corden starts "Rose's Turn" as part of the medley and then veers off into personal territory.

Then I read an entry from [personal profile] sorcyress which mentions someone disavowing "the G-slur." I pondered. What could that be? After a while it hit me that by 7:30 AM I had already had the coincidence of the day - the word must be Gypsy.

I ended that part of my morning brainstorm with the thought that however wonderful Audra McDonald must be, I am not going to NYC to see a show

not only but heavily because of the potential mask ban. Probably the only time I'll link to the NY Post (probably don't bother to click, because the paywall pops up almost immediately).

* There are 7 BTS members. Each of them has a 7 somewhere. It's like the actors in Lord of the Rings having 9. Maybe there are lots more examples that I don't know.

Rubio in a press conference said that he has been cancelling visas based on vibes (he didn't actually say that, but might as well have - it doesn't seem to be based on legal evidence, just when he feels like it).
His rough estimate was 300 so far.
