forty hours down, fourteen years to go

I've finished my first week of working (for class credit, not for money) at a physical therapy clinic. I've survived, the patients have survived. The main item of constructive criticism I got from my clinical instructor that I should act like I know what I am doing, whether I do or not. I need to inspire confidence (and if I don't know something I should ask her, not mention it to the patient).
A number of people, including me, expect that the bulk of the baby boomers will be in the workplace until about age 70, which is where I got my subject line projection.
