another test of the insulation

Got home at the end of a 90 degree (F) day (and 25 hours of travel) to find the upstairs bedroom registering 82, which sounds warm but it means the insulation has been working, I think. And all the closed blinds and curtains keeping out the sun. My parents used to keep their house set at 78 pretty much all year round (the compromise position between my father who felt that was too cold and my mother who felt it was too warm). This is only a few more degrees, and I have a ceiling fan.
