Coulter confusion
Sep. 6th, 2006 09:23 amI saw a bit of the Top Villains list compiled from a poll done by the British national reading campaign. At number 3 (following Voldemort and Sauron) is "Mrs. Coulter." My immediate thought was that they meant Ann, but of course she's a *writer* of fiction (more or less), not a character in it, and she isn't Mrs. anybody.
People actually meant the Philip Pullman character from the "His Dark Materials" books.
