Paralympics

Most of the TV coverage will be on the NBC cable sports channel, at the actual time (ie mostly in the middle of the night our time), but there will be some on NBC in daytime or prime time.  The opening ceremony was nice - lots of good music and dancing, with a number of aerialists (including the Fire Bird) and only one really over the top thing.   The Ukrainian athletes are all there, but the decision was made that only the flag-bearer would march (actually, roll) in the parade.  Things are tense but that seems a little weird to me.  All the US athletes are there, but no delegation of dignitaries.  I continue to hope we will avoid a war.
