Fairy tale England, or not so much

lauradi7dwAfter seeing "Becoming Jane," I looked for other stuff with James McAvoy. I borrowed the
Chronicles of Narnia (L, W, W) DVD from the library. I mostly didn't like it, but that's fair, because I mostly didn't like the book. McAvoy plays Mr. Tumnus, the Faun. Now I've started watching the TV series "Shameless," set in a housing estate in Manchester. Not a green and pleasant land at all.

Bit of dialogue I like, although it sounds like something out of a self-help book:
"90% of this world's problems are caused by little words that come in pairs
...
I can't
she won't
we wouldn't"
