I'm going to be taking Child and Adolescent Development (a psychology course) in January, very intensively. I may have to disappear for the duration. Or not. The teacher
has a reputation for being dedicated but easy. At any rate, I ordered the book used from Betterworld.com (what a nice name). The condition was listed as "like new" so I was dismayed to see that there was highlighting throughout. I don't like it when people highlight in books. I suspect I've mentioned that in the past. I read the introduction and discovered that the printer (at the request of the author) had highlighted those passages. They're mostly definitions within the text. Nothing to be done about it. The previous owner seems to have additionally highlighted one line, and she drew a frowny face next to
the section on Alzheimer's (it's a lifespan development book. The child and adolescent part is about 500 pages). Close enough to new, considering that it was half price.
