excessive (?) handwashing
Apr. 29th, 2009 07:45 amI wash my hands frequently, but briefly. I don't think I could stand to wash them for 20 seconds at a time, even with a suitable musical background

Some of the nursing school people treat post-peeing handwashing as though they were going directly into surgery - they leave the water running while they grab the paper towel and then turn the faucet off with paper towel in hand. I have a friend who (I expect) uses fancy face lotions (she's about my age and has NO wrinkles) but her hands are always cracked to the point of
nearly bleeding. She also carries sanitizing wipes around. Having (really clean) open wounds can't be good.
