It wasn't too surprising about Patrick Swayze - pancreatic cancer just is that way, and while having someone my age die might be a cautionary tale of some sort, I'm struck more by the fact that people who were well-known young adults when I was pubescent (Mary Travers and Henry Gibson) have died, ages 72 & 73, within a day of each other. I have a Mary Travers solo album (1972?) downstairs. At about the same time, I had a poster with one of Gibson's little poems. Sigh.
