from Longbourn to the bay

I'm fond of a mini-series called "Lost in Austen," which like many of Jane Austen's books, apparently is going to be almost immediately re-made. Odd. A modern London woman and Elizabeth Bennett switch places, and other things occur. Earlier this week I dreamed that several Austen characters turned up here, but it must not have been here exactly, because once they got used to living in modern America, they began training for the Bay to Breakers 12K race, as far again from Boston as we are from England.
Other things have been going on, including wild mood swings about applying to grad school. or not.
