Jan. 19th, 2020 04:01 pmA. "Linda Abramson, RIP." (widely loved person I used to tap with)
B. "If you want something, ask for it." (definitely not trying to paraphrase AFP). Elderly former tap dancer I haven't seen for years called me (on the land line, which we fortunately have kept up), asking for a ride to Linda's service. It's a five minute walk from our house, so I hadn't thought of driving, and I expect the parking lot will be packed, but sure, what the heck, of course I'll drive her there.
C. "What should I wear?" I have some usual memorial service outfits, but it occurred to me that Linda would be amused to have me show up in my About Time Tappers t-shirt. On the other hand, I don't believe in ghosts, so I don't think she'll have a chance to see it.
D. "Be ready to change plans." Tomorrow morning I *was* planning to go to an anti-racism thing, but racism will still be around some other time.
