We are of course upset about no justice for Breonna Taylor. We went to the daily (as far as I know) standing around by the Minuteman statue with BLM signs event. Stood around. Chatted. On the way home, I mentioned to Arthur an interview I heard on Sunday, I think, in which the speaker was talking about how ever much white people try to be allies, we can go home after doing something and feel safe in America. There are exceptions, of course, but it's mostly true. And there we were, walking home safely, not harmed by the police officer who drove by earlier, free to do mundane things like wash the dishes without worrying that somebody would storm into the house and shoot us.
