a novel or an attic

(or even a short story) or even writing 50,000 words of navel-gazing introspection in a (paper) journal, (and no, I can't knit a sweater either) but I like the idea of joining a mob scene. I'm trying to work out some way to declare my attic a novel. I could pledge to get it all tidy and organized in a month. It's idly possible that there are 50,000 items in the attic. I could try to sort some every day, and keep track of it on one of the spreadsheets provided for novel writers
