everybody talks about the weather

and here am I, doing the same thing. I was aware, of course, that it's unseasonably warm out. I had half the upstairs windows open this afternoon, airing the place out. But what really struck me was that when I got to Alewife at 9:20 for the 9:30 bus (the last one of the night, so people tend to arrive early) all dozen or so of us sat outside on the benches waiting. Normally this time of year people are huddled inside. It's not really heated there, but it's out of the wind. Tonight we all sat out in the balmy air. Pleasanter than in the summer, because there were no mosquitos tonight.
