That's a beautiful trip you're missing... When I was a kid we went to Bryce Canyon in Utah and it looked a lot like the Red Knoll picture. We also spent a week at Lake Powell another time and it's got all the wind-eroded red rock everywhere as well.

Hope you can get to go for real another year!

We went to Bryce, Zion, Canyon de Chelly, and the north rim of the Grand Canyon when Flo was about eight, and took along one of Arthur's nieces. A lot of driving, a lot of PBJ in the car (it wasn't a very vegetarian area), and a lot of gorgeous scenery.

The tour companies issued us credits for future use, not refunds, so we have double motivation to get there.
