Languages other than English. One of the translate from English into Spanish sentences I got this morning from Duolingo was "They return home next Friday." When I said it to myself, it came out
"Vuelven домой el próximo vendredi." I knew what I meant, but it's a jumble of three languages. I fixed it before typing it.

It turns out that Domino's is pretty easy to sound out in Hangul (there was an ad on the baseball field fence). Having the logo helped, of course.

I studied Spanish in high school. When we visited France it was simply impossible for me to pronounce "jardin" right. Same spelling in French and Spanish, completely different pronunciation! har-deen vs. zhar-dan. har-deen won every time.
