Saturday night at the laptop

lauradi7dwWhat does it mean that I get an email advertising a sale at REI at 11:30 on a Saturday night? Is someone sitting in an office somewhere now to send them out, or it is automatic? Would it be worse to be sending out advertising at this hour, or to be lying in bed checking email?
