I would like to buy the audio version of Maria Dahvana Headley's new translation of Beowulf, read by JD Jackson. It's on Audible, which is owned by Amazon. I don't know that downloading digits is putting the lives of warehouse workers at risk, but I don't want to put money into Bezos's pocket. What to do? I could buy the physical book, but I don't getting Arthur to read it to me is likely. Listen to the first five minutes - some of it is jarring, but most of it is fabulous.
