Obligatory Bread and Roses scene from "Pride" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Td1noF-yOjM We attended the Bread and Roses festival in Lawrence for a couple of hours once when Flo was a toddler, but didn't go again. I guess it is not surprising that it still exists, and is virtual this year ttps://www.breadandrosesheritage.org For many years in the 1980s and 90s, there was a bellringing gathering on Labor Day weekend. Besides those two things, we have never done anything for the holiday weekend. Staying home and away from crowds is no hardship for us this year.
