Masks, distance, limited time indoors. We are a pod of two, and don't spend time with other people unless those requirements are met. Outdoors is better, but I have been willing to go indoors when needed, almost always double-masked. Indoors was grocery shopping only for several months, gradually expanding to other circumstances, but not other people's homes* In all cases, I've kept it under about twenty minutes#. ( *#except for the trip to visit my parents in July). Since late summer, I've been in ringing rooms, the Red Line (three times), stores, and medical offices. Nothing that violated the rules and duration mentioned. Arthur has not been into a grocery store since March, but has had three dental visits, including today, when a crown needed to be re-cemented for the second time in four months. This required a trip to East Cambridge, and he invited me along. At first this seemed silly to me, but then I remembered that the Museum of Science is open. We're members, although we hardly ever go. So I booked a time slot (numbers of visitors are limited, masks are required) and jogged over from the dentist's office. In twenty minutes I saw parts of three exhibits, sanitized my hands three times, and didn't get close to anybody. I don't know anything about their ventilation system. Jogged back to meet Arthur, freshly re-crowned. It was fun, but that was a lot of car time. Probably won't happen again any time soon.

Oh man, I do have a lot of love for the MoS! That seems like a nice side trip, and I'm glad to hear their social distancing protocols seem to be working.

Your pod is doing it right--may your exemplary precautions bring your exemplary good health.
Me, I've not set foot inside a building other than my own since the lockdown in March. Except in my dreams, nightmares, really, full of unmasked faces leering at me in hotel corridors and rooms.
I pick up my food at the Co-op, where they put it in the trunk. I've tried Target's similar service for items not carried by the Co-op, but their service isn't as reliable: I've had to throw away several things whose packages were damaged or open. Everything else I've ordered by mail.
