2 good books read.
A in A&P lecture first semester (the lab teacher hasn't posted grades yet).
Terrific group for the Harborfest change ringing talk on Sunday, including potential recruits.
Locally grown organic strawberries.
The discovery that V8 juice makes a good base for bean stew.
An amazing revelation about Jack Harkness in the Dr Who season finale.
Alphabetical order.
2 good documentaries seen ("Pucker" and "Manufactured Landscapes.") I probably won't make it to the IMAX "Hurricane on the Bayou" before it leaves the Museum of Science or it would be 3.

Date: 2007-07-03 04:36 pm (UTC)"Dinner with Dad," a non-fiction book about a suburban father over-achiever who worked 80 hour a week until he decided to change his life in order to be home for dinner 5 nights a week, including cooking half of them. Lots of interesting insights about relationships, child-rearing, and the fact that he stayed a Type A personality even though down time had been added to his life.
