Warning - politics again

lauradi7dwAlmost a month, still waiting for the "proof" that the Israeli teenagers were harmed by Hamas. They might have been, we just haven't been given evidence. On the other hand, it apparently was known almost immediately that the teens were dead, and a deliberate gag order was issued:

The Forward still has a Yiddish section on its website (the Forward originally was an entirely Yiddish newspaper, beginning in 1897) but there seem to be some different stories. Apparently there are still print editions in English and Yiddish, but unlike the website, the paper version is no longer daily.
I'm not quite sure why having Netanyahu and pals lie to start a war is so galling to me. It can't be because my tax dollars are paying for it (which they are - we still give and loan tons of money to the Israeli military) - my taxes pay for US Airforce drone murders of Pakistani civilians, and I hardly ever post about that.
