Jane Waks, whom I only knew through the SCA and only saw occasionally, has died, way too young. Many other people have posted eloquently. I'll just say that she was friendly, and smart, and organized, and a pleasure to be around. This was not just the case for her friends, but for those of us with a passing acquaintance. She will be massively missed.
