Electric current has reared its sparkly head in my academic career again. I typed anion into google, hoping for a good way to remember that the anode is + and the anion is - (I only need to remember one, and then I can figure out the other). The only thing I've ever come up in the past with is that anabolic steroids make people bigger and the anode is more positive, but that's not particularly good. At any rate, I was startled by this search result:
