Flo was here visiting on our anniversary, and made a vegan version of our usual celebratory carrot cake (our wedding cake was a carrot cake). We bought a new tin of baking powder for the occasion, as I had no idea how old the previous one was. I made biscuits tonight and it's astounding how much better they turned out using the new stuff.
