family farming

lauradi7dwI was sad to find no corn at the farmers' market today. I was planning to have corn & potatoes tomorrow in honor of Columbus Day - in 1992, one of the museums in the Smithsonian system decided to commemorate the invasion by pointing out how much the trade of foods back and forth changed the world. There was an animated cartoon in the exhibit called The Corn and Potato Show.
I found it on this page http://www.animationjones.com/ but can't figure out how to open the file.
When we're in England, I usually buy this brand of yogurt. I doubt that these guys are actually farmers.
