lauradi7dwThis list only includes official bed-like places. The fact that I slept on buses (from Alewife home, mostly, but also on the way to NYC) could be noted but not listed geographically, and I am sure that there were times that I nodded off at school, mostly in the library.

and Durham, and Durham, and Durham, in my childhood room, from August through December. I expect to keep being there often, as long as my parents are alive, but I don't intend to move there. As we were leaving after the Christmas visit, I asked when I should return. My mother's response was basically that I should come when I have to (ie the next emergency), which struck me as incorrect - wouldn't it be better to be there often enough to foresee upcoming problems and head them off if possible? My father's reply was even scarier - he said "Tomorrow. Don't go. We have a room for you."
