It's its 3rd season, but I've just discovered Star Talk Radio
http://www.startalkradio.net/show/advancing-to-the-next-level-the-science-of-video-games-part-1/
I've been doing other things, but meaning to post about the Olympics, about whether there is some ingredient in sun screen that causes white linen or plastic to have orange stains, pain-free but disturbing knee crepitus, and some other stuff, including this bit that was in my saved drafts
For home use, I usually buy half a dozen eggs at Passover time. We use maybe 4 of them, so then there are leftovers. The short version of the story is that I have leftover eggs from 2007 onward, which have been in the back of the fridge. When shaken, some of them are silent and lightweight. A couple of them go thunk when shaken. I think at some point I presumed I'd turn them into pisanki, with a brown background instead of white, but if I go ahead and do that, I'd have to store them up until next spring.

Wow. Someone who uses zero eggs in the course of normal life. I think of our household as not big egg-eaters, but they go into cookies and pancakes and casseroles and we end up using not quite a dozen a week.

I don't do much baking, and what I do is quick bread or no-roll pie crust stuff that doesn't require eggs, although I did use one of this year's extras making tapioca pudding from scratch for a friend who had been ill and was craving it. Arthur likes mayonnaise on sandwiches, so there is that egg product around in general. We eat them sometimes - during a recent visit to his parents, his mother made pancakes and also egg salad sandwiches.
