Work through Wilson's chapters on the Nature of the Rows and false courses and method building. (that's been a vague plan since 1982. Maybe it's time to get started).

Get to the point of being able to do the Yang 24 form without hesitations or fudging. How many years has it been, for crying out loud? I suppose it's possible that I'm hopeless at internalizing some sorts of rote physical movements. That certainly seems to be the case with Plus square dancing.

Find out (by making appointment with doctor?) whether aerobic exercise is in fact necessary for cardio pulmonary health. I exercise quite a bit, but nothing that would count. My resting heart rate is in the 60s. To get my heart rate up to the theoretical minimum for my age to get aerobic benefits, I have to do something as vigorous as jumping jacks. That would clearly not be possible for 20 minutes at a time - my knees wouldn't tolerate it.

Memorize the Bill of Rights, word for word.

Learn all the following computer stuff, the minimum required for library school at Southern Connecticut State University*:

>>all incoming graduate students must have the following computer skills prior to taking any courses in the Department of Information and Library Science: Windows; MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic Access (table creation, queries on a single table); e-mail; Internet; any drawing tool; telnet; and ftp. To acquire these skills, students can take courses at a community college, a university, or a computer training center. These skills can also be self-taught with the help of a textbook or instruction manual.<<

*I'm planning to take these courses online in the fall, to find out if I really want to work towards an MLS. One can take up to 9 credits without undergoing the full application process.
